The Lord's Chamber
With its beautiful bare stone walls, timbered ceiling, polished oak floor and monumental fireplace the huge and majestic Lords's chamber is situated in the middle of the castle's XIV Century keep.
Decorated in true medieval style with a canopied Queen sized bed, hand carved period furniture and authentic tapestries on all four walls, this chamber is a totally faithful recreation of a feudal nobleman's bedroom.
-The Lord's has its own, comfortingly modern bathroom facilities (shower, basin and wc) discreetly situated in a small adjoining tower, once the "garde-robe",
- Two firm mattress beds offer accommodation for up to 2 children accompanying their parents;
A full continental breakfast, including freshly baked breads and croissants,cereals, home made jams and preserves,creamy yoghurt and a variety of teas or coffee, is served in the medieval dining room or the historic, vaulted "Salle de gardes" on the ground floor of the castle.
A full English breakfast can be ordered in advance (supplement 30 euros per couple).
