Bed and Breakfast Rooms

Grande Hall and fireplace

The main chambre d'hôte (bed & breakfast) rooms are located in the keep, the oldest part of the castle. They are enormous (10 x 10 metres) and are virtually unchanged from the fourteenth century.

Each one has been furnished and decorated in keeping with its period; yet each one has its own small, but reassuringly modern, private shower, basin, and toilet in the adjoining garderobe turret.

All guests are free to enjoy the tranquil grounds of the Château; to boat and fish in the moat, to use the swimming pool, play badminton, croquet, ping-pong, boules at the castle. Golf, tennis, windsurfing and horse riding are all very nearby. Or feel free just to relax and absorb the calming sense of history which pervades the Château.

There are a number of good restaurants in the vicinity, and the owners of Tennessus are very happy to offer advice on the best places to eat, local specialities, etc.

New this year: a picnic hamper!
